42 Draft Designs 3” downpipe is the single most effective bolt-on upgrade for the Audi TT 225. No other basic physical modification can compete with the power gains delivered by this fundamental upgrade. Simply by reducing backpressure creates useable horsepower and torque throughout the power band while also improving turbo spool and throttle response.
Street Series downpipes are equipped with a 200/cell high-flow catalytic converter. Race Series downpipes include only a test pipe for track day. Included adaptor reduces pipe size to utilize the OEM band clamp.

Polyurethane transmission mount inserts are HIGHLY recommended for this application.
Starting at the turbo discharge the downpipe bolts up with a CNC machined turbo flange. A tight radius bend smoothly sends exhausts gases downward, steering clear of critical engine bay components. Joined to this bend with precision TIG welds, CNC mandrel bent tubing and a flex section route exhaust gases through one of the tightest tunnels Audi makes. Piping clears all heatshields, the subframe, and driveshaft with ease. CNC machined adjustable flanges connect the cat section, tucking a Magnaflow 200 cell metal high-flow cat into the limited space available. After the cat, a series of mandrel bends route the downpipe to the factory cat-back, attached using an adaptor. This adaptor allows the fitment of stock exhaust and all aftermarket cat-backs.

this pipe will not last in pa winters, for the money it should be at least 409 grade stainless, may last a while in arizona. had 304 stainless on my last car 10 yrs and 199xxx miles NO sign of rust or any degrading, ceramic coating means little except more $$$$ from experience
