42 Draft Designs Boost Gauge Tubing Kits are designed specifically to splice into factory vacuum lines. The wrong boost gauge tubing kit can turn an afternoon project into a dramatic disappointment. Updated for 2009, 42 Draft Designs Boost Gauge tubing kits combine the best of the best at an affordable and competitive price. In the engine bay the proven 42 Draft Designs restrictor T-fitting is used to splice into the factory vacuum lines and provide a clean signal to the boost gauge. At the gauge the 42DD straight boost gauge fitting is used. This fitting is the most compact barb fitting seen by 42DD, allowing installation in the tightest of gauge pods. Tying it all together is 8 feet of the toughest and most flexible tubing they have ever used. Made from a high-tech polymer, this new tubing is flexible enough to bend around a quarter, but stiff enough to support itself without kinking or drooping. This 42DD tubing can snake through gauge pods without kinking or crushing, while simultaneously holding tight to the 42DD barbed fittings without zip-ties or clamps. Zip ties and installation instructions are included for convenience.
This kit is designed to be used on gasoline engines with available vacuum lines. This kit includes 8' of our flexible tubing, a barbed fitting to connect the tubing to the gauge, a restrictor T-fitting, zip-ties and installation instructions. Typical applications include turbocharged mk2-mk4 VWs, Lancer EVO's, WRX's, etc.
