(Flying to Los Angeles to pick up our Audi S4)
(Audi S4 at the Dealership)
Eurotek Tuning’s Audi S4
With two of our cars recently sold, we set out to buy a new Eurotek Tuning project car. Eurotek Tuning is excited to share with you our current build.
The past few weeks, we set out to purchase an Audi S4.Without luck in Las Vegas, we continued our search in California. It was phone call after phone call with multiple dealers stating that their advertised S4’s were “just sold.”Then finally, last week we found one still at the dealership, so we jumped on it instantaneously.
Booking the next flight to Los Angeles, we purchased the car and drove it back this past weekend. We found a 2011 Audi S4 S-Tronic that features a seven-speed S tronic dual clutch transmission and steering wheel mounted paddle-shifters for tiptronic gear selection. This vehicle was built with modern, luxury style and performance in mind.
The S4 comes stocked and powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 that produces 333 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. The S Tronic option allows the S4 to snap off rapid shifts either by itself or at your command via wheel-mounted shifters and returns 1 mpg more on the highway, so you get faster shifting and better fuel economy, along with overall better car performance and smoother shifting. It holds a gear right up until it bangs off the rev limiter and downshifts far quicker than doing so manually.
While we appreciate this car as is in stock form, we are excited to start this build with a bunch of performance mods already in mind. We’ve already been in contact with many of our friends in the industry and Audi performance parts are already on their way, so stay tuned as we update you step-by-step in the upcoming weeks on the status of our build.
