Yesterday we posted a YouTube video showing performance gains after installation of the Stage 1 & 2 Carbonio Intake on our Eurotek Project Car, the Audi S4.
The Carbonio Carbon Fiber Intake 3.0 TFSI kit is suitable S4 & S5 models with Stage 1 and Stage 2 modified engines all the way up to future supercharger upgrades.
While the OEM intake system vents some of the incoming air into the engine bay and takes several twists and turns before the air ever reaches the supercharger, the Carbono intake system simplifies the intake system by directing all incoming air directly at the filter.
The end result of this Carbonio intake is suppose to be increased Horsepower and Torque, improved Throttle Response and Fuel Economy, as well as enhanced Sound of Supercharger, among many other benefits. You can read more about the Carbonio Carbon Fiber Intake here.
At the end of the day, we wanted to see if we can make our Audi S4 faster, so we decided to conduct a quick test.
We decided to conduct a simple test measuring 0-60 times to compare acceleration gains between use of the stock intake versus a Carbonio Stage 1 & 2 Intake System. Prior to this test, we already installed APR Stage 2+ Tuning with Supercharger Pulley and Stasis Full Exhaust. So all things being equal, we isolated the intake upgrade as our variable for testing.
Time was measured via the P3 Cars Vent Integrated Digital Interface that we installed last month.

First Run (with stock intake): clocked in at 4.6 seconds.
Second Run (with Carbonio Stage 1 & 2 Intake System): clocked in at 4.46 seconds.
