If you want to get the largest performance gains without significantly increasing the weight of your Audi or Volkswagen, then you may want to install a turbocharger kit. Adding a forced induction system to an engine will dramatically transform a vehicle in terms of speed and power. Such an upgrade can yield up to 25-50% power gains, and in many application, add more than 100 horsepower to the stock set up. Below you will see ATP turbo kits for Audi and VW that are capable of yielding 500 horse.
Turbochargers are forced induction systems that will significantly boost engine potency, compressing air that flows into the engine. This lets the engine squeeze more air and fuel into the combustion chamber, yielding more power form each explosion in each cylinder. Turbochargers are powered through the exhaust stream that runs through a turbine and spins the compressor.
Each kit will include its own distinct set of components. Here are some common parts to familiarize yourself with:
Below are some of the Turbochargers that we sell.
Featured in the photo above is the ATP 500HP GT3076R Turbo for 2.0 T FSI engines. Just as the title indicates, this upgrade has the potential to yield 500 horsepower. Specifically, this mod can be applied to A4 B7, Passat B6, EOS 2007, S3 8P, Golf MKV, Jetta MKV, A3 8P and TT, TT-S, TT-RS MKII.
