F1X M5/M6 / F9X M5/M8 / G9X M5 High-Performance Engine Oil Cooler
a problem that worsens with lowered suspension setups. A stronger, more robust design was needed to solve these issues.; CNC-Machined Connection Blocks - TIG-welded for extreme durability, ensuring they withstand any abuse. Upgraded Core Design - Swaps the fragile Tube & Fin core for a heavy-duty Bar & Plate core, making it far more impact-resistant in case of a front-end scrape or bottom-out. 33% Larger Core - Features three additional rows of oil cooling and a thicker 60mm core (vs. OEM 45mm core) for improved heat dissipation. TIG-Welded End Tanks - Stronger and more durable than the factory's brazed construction, reducing the risk of leaks.; CSF collaborated with the team at Carbahn to ensure maximum compatibility and performance, creating a drop-in solution for both platforms. Designed specifically to handle the extra heat of their new S63 Stroker Kit, this oil cooler built for ultimate performance and power.; However, performance isn't the only reason to upgrade. Many F1X & F9X owners have been forced to replace their oil coolers due to leaks and damage, largely because of their vulnerable mounting position; it is also a preventative upgrade that helps avoid costly repairs and extends the longevity of your engine.; The original OE oil cooler from BMW is an all metal design which would make you think it would be fairly robust. However, there are several weak spots in the design that make it far less durable than it could be. The CSF design resolves these issues with more robust materials and reinforcing weak points. At first glance, the original BMW OE oil cooler appears solid due to its all-metal construction. However, design weaknesses make it far less durable than expected. CSF tackled these flaws by using stronger materials and reinforced engineering to create a superior replacement:; Whether your M5, M6, or M8 is a daily driver, weekend cruiser, or dedicated track car, upgrading the oil cooler is a smart investment. Tuned S63s, especially those with upgraded turbos, generate significantly more heat, making efficient cooling even more critical. Excessive oil temperatures can quickly trigger limp mode and, in extreme cases, lead to catastrophic engine failure. CSF's new High-Performance Engine Oil Cooler isn't just about maximizing performance; With enhanced cooling performance, increased durability, and precision engineering, CSF's new High-Performance Engine Oil Cooler is the perfect solution for S63 owners pushing their cars to the limit.
