The plastic factory airbox is good at muffling intake noise and enhancing low rpm/low speed engine performance, but becomes very restrictive when the engine is operating in the higher rpm range – where most performance drivers need it.
The NEUSPEED P-Flo kit now offers a choice of two filter types: the time proven oiled multi-layer cotton gauze air filter that is washable and reusable or the new dry paper media filter.
Dry filter features:
After months of development, NEUSPEED has developed an intake pipe size that matches the factory MAF exactly. Because of this fuel trims are not affected and will not trigger any DTCs. In addition, eliminating the OE plastic MAF housing showed an increase in airflow, as no pre-screen is required to reduce turbulence when air is routed through the long piping with its smooth mandrel bends.
Flow bench test results:
Stock airbox assembly including filter:
346 CFM @ 23"of water
NEUSPEED P-FLO Kit including filter:
529 CFM @ 23"of water
Note: As the OE engine cover is an integral part of the OE air intake box, it must be removed as part of the installation of the NEUSPEED P-Flo kit.

Overall great product. Looks great in the bay. Complements the look of the engine nicely. Fitment is likewise great. If going to this intake from stock, prepare yourself for a lot more noise coming from the intake. It's great!
The instructions could benefit from a little more detail, but otherwise pretty solid. For instance, if your factory heat shield has four 10mm nuts beneath it, you need remove only the two directly beneath the stock filter box mounts. Space is pretty tight in this area, and you have to squeeze your hand beneath the stock heat shield; no sense in doing extra work, especially in such tight quarters.
Make sure you have a pair of extendable hose clamp pliers and a 24mm 12-point deep socket prior to install. Mechanix-style gloves might not be a bad idea either. Your call.
Given the slight miss on the instructions, I give it 4.5 stars. If the instructions had a little more detail I'd go full-on 5 stars.

Easy to install and looks great. I can not complain.
