The Unitronic Carbon Fiber Intake System with Air Duct and High Flow Turbo Inlet is a complete performance intake package engineered for the MK8 Volkswagen Golf R and 8Y Audi S3 equipped with the 2.0TSI EVO4 engine. Designed to maximize airflow and turbocharger efficiency, this system improves throttle response, reduces turbo lag, and enhances induction sound.

Unitronic specifically engineered this intake system to increase air velocity while lowering intake air temperatures. The oversized airbox inlet works together with the included carbon fiber air duct to utilize both OEM grille inlets, increasing airflow capacity and turbo efficiency for improved overall performance.

Constructed using 2x2 twill prepreg carbon fiber, the intake system delivers lightweight strength and exceptional durability. Each component is cured in an autoclave to eliminate resin voids and finished with a UV and heat-resistant clear coat for long-lasting appearance and protection.

High Flow Billet Turbo Inlet

At the core of the system is a CNC-machined billet aluminum turbo inlet designed with a smooth taper to increase airflow velocity before the turbine. Paired with a large multi-ply silicone hose, this setup improves airflow while maintaining compatibility with both the factory turbocharger and the Garrett 2563 turbo.

Enhanced Turbo Sound & Driving Experience

The open-element intake design significantly enhances turbocharger and diverter valve acoustics, delivering a more aggressive and engaging induction sound while maintaining proper airflow management and filtration.
